Finally! After not being there on the June 17th, 2009 release of the iPhone 3.0 software, AT&T has finally gotten its butt in gear and is going to deliver the coveted feature on September 25, 2009. MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) lets you send attachments on text messages. Those attachments can range from simple pictures to things like videos and contact information (vCards). AT&T says that it wanted the feature to be as good as it possibly could before it was launched. I for one, am just greatful that it is coming sooner rather then later. Also, according to AT&T, the MMS feature will be turned on with a firmware upgrade. Based on this, I think we will finally see 3.1 on the 25th as well.
