Do you have photos on your iPhone or iPod Touch that you don't want anyone to see? Do you wish you could put photos on your device that only you had access to? If so, My Eyes Only is exactly what you need. It provides you with password protected and encrypted photos only you can view.
The application's setup is simple; you simply create your password and a security question only you know the answer to, just in case you forget. Once you've created your password, you are brought to the main page where you can add photos to be protected. There are two folders set up by default, but you can delete them and add your own categories if you'd like. Once you have folders set up you can add photos from your library or take a new picture with your camera. There is a small catch here that the developer clearly explains in their description. The application can't delete photos from your device's library. So, when you add photos to be protected, they are still visible in your device's library. You'll need to turn off photo syncing in iTunes for the photos you want password protected. This might get a little annoying, but it's better than no option at all. Photos taken while inside the My Eyes Only application using the built in camera will not be stored in your camera roll and will only be available for view inside the app.

The application also includes an option to delete your password and all photos. Another security feature will delete all photos in the application if someone enters in the wrong password six times. Also, if you leave the app open by accident and your device goes into screen lock, when you go to unlock the screen, the app will ask for your password again.
The app functions well and includes the basic features one would need in order to hide their photos from prying eyes. You can pinch, zoom and rotate your device to view photos. You can swipe to view your photos while in full screen mode or tap on the arrows to move forward or backward. When you want to delete photos, you have to delete them one at a time, or an entire folder. It would have been nice to have the option to select multiple photos at a time to delete or move to another folder. Also, if you take a photo while in the app, there is no way to get it off your device. The inability to share photos by email or any other method is probably this app's biggest flaw.
Overall, My Eyes Only functions well. The UI is intuitive, allowing for smooth navigation between folders and photos. In addition to encryption, the security features make you feel confident that your private photos will stay private. Add those sharing features, and this app could earn a five star rating. I strongly recommend checking this one out.
