Chronicles of Inotia: Legend of Feanor is an old-school action RPG for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This game has many similarities to Diablo, Zelda, and Ragnarok Online but It?s not a perfect title.
The story for the game is broken down for you through text at the beginning. There is an intro video when you load up the game that does show you a little bit more, but it?s nothing deep and meaningful story wise. Soon after you read through all of that you?ll get to start your adventure. When you make a new character you?ll have to deal with dice rolls to get your attributes. You have an unlimited number of rerolls, so don?t worry about wasting anything but time to attempt getting them perfect. Once you?re done with that, you can enter the game world.
You tap the location on the screen for where you want to move to.

If there is an enemy there, the circle will turn red and you can attack. If it?s a friendly NPC you?ll be able to interact with them in some way. The dialogue boxes for interacting with the NPC?s seems to lag initially but it doesn?t hurt the game. You?re able to level up your stats, gain new items, increase your skills, and accept quests. The combat is all auto attack so you just need to tap your target and you?ll be killing in no time. Unfortunately these enemies, even the little ones at the starting area, will beat the crap out of you, so expect to die a lot when you play this game.
The graphics look cartoony and very SNES, giving it a fun and familiar feel. Unfortunately the game feels old and feels like you?re just going to be grinding your way through the game. If you enjoy games like Raganarok Online but don?t mind them being single player, then check this game out.

This game reminds me of a game I used to play all the time. It was an MMORPG called Ragnarok. no RPG will ever compare or even get close unless the creaters of Ragnarok create it. Anyways this game actualy got close. This game is a must have for RPG players.
I assure you that this game wont disappoint. But if you aren't a very patient person the LVing up might not be a great part for you. the Graphics may be in 2D but the creator(s) did a great job with it. The music can get annoying at times but the doesnt mean you cant drown it out with your own music. This game in my oppinion deserves a 5/5 becuase most RPG games in the Appstore aren't great untill now. I greatly and proudly recommend this for both people searching for a game to kill time and people who are into RPG. One more thing to add is that this game would be way better if we could customize the character more and if it were online. I hope the next future updates will add things like online play and and character customization.
