Wild West Pinball is a pinball game that exceeds the standard of pinball games on the iPhone by attempting to create the most realistic pinball game possible. The physics and sounds of the game are specifically designed to make the game "feel right" and give pinball fans the closest feel to actually being on a machine.The game has almost everything one would expect from a pinball game and really does present itself well. The ball moves naturally along the board and really does feel close to being real.



Tapping on the right side of the screen will control the right bumper and the left will control the left bumper accordingly. Aside from the game itself, there are no other features or options that can be customized. The game is a true pinball arcade simulation and as such cannot be customized in any way. While playing, it did not have any framerate issues whatsoever and seemed to confirm the statement from its developers saying it ran at 40 frames per second.



Overall, Wild West Pinball is a great pinball simulation game for the iPhone and iPod touch. If you are a fan of pinball games or just like to occasionally try out your trigger finger, this app may be for you. If has a great feel and really brings the challenge of pinball right to your device. With a medium price tag, this app really does offer a great experience that I recommend trying out.
