12Seconds is a nifty app for the iPhone that allows you to create a 12 second slideshow with audio directly from your device. This app is really easy to use and actually pretty fun to mess around with.
Most of you probably don?t have an account set up with 12Seconds yet, so you?ll have to go through the registration process. This is all handled within the app itself and is pretty easy to do. After you do that you?ll be able to start making your own slideshows or start watching them. When you load up the watch interface, you?re presented with your recent updates first. You can see other slideshows by using the drop down to select featured or everyone. When you want to watch a specific video, all you need to do is tap the picture or the name and it will load up.
To make your own slideshow, you?ll either need to have three pictures you want to use already or be prepared to take them live.

The app doesn?t give you an option to save these pictures to your photo album, so keep that in mind before you start taking pictures in the app. After you take or add the third picture it will ask you to do a twelve second voiceover. The app shows you the pictures in order so you can record something appropriate as each picture flashes by. After you?re done, you?ll be able to name and set additional details for that specific video before uploading it.
12Seconds is a really fun app that provides something new to the iPhone. Unfortunately it does have some quirks that could be worked out. Having the ability to back the images you take up directly to your phone or control the panning that the app automatically sets in the video would be amazing. The audio also needs to get an increase in quality as well. Despite those little issues, this is definitely an app you should check out.
