The graphics and gameplay on the iPhone and iPod Touch have come a long way in a very short amount of time. Even games that aren?t complex are starting to offer a more impressive looking interface to appeal to a wider audience. Agents of Interpol is a basic I-Spy game wrapped in an impressive package with a storyline to boot.
The story behind the game has you chasing after Dr.Chaos. He has apparently left some clues behind and you?ve been called in to figure them out. You?re taken around the world in your quest to find all of the clues he?s left behind and bring him in to justice. Each city will have a few different locations for you to visit from the main map screen.
Inside each location, the game becomes an I-Spy game. You?re given a list of objects you need to find and they?re visible on the right hand side of the screen. Some of them are multiples of the same object hidden throughout the level, while many of them are unique pieces. As you?re collecting them all, you?ll notice a timer down bottom that will alert you to how much time you have left.
If you double tap a lot, you?ll receive a time penalty which really won?t affect you that much as you should be able to beat it before the time runs out. If you get stuck, there are hints available for you to use. Overall, this game is really well designed, but it?s still just another I-Spy game, which is rather unfortunate.
