Games » Antimatter Review

Antimatter is a confusing yet intriguing game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The developers make it clear that this game is hard to describe and they aren?t kidding, but we?ll definitely give it a shot.
In this game, you control a stream of antimatter particles with the swipes of your finger. Cosmic strings will open up throughout the level and your goal is to turn them from blue to orange. This isn?t an easy task at all as they?re moving and you will bounce off of them. Every time you hit one of these cosmic strings you?ll find that it changes between blue and orange.
There are plenty of powerups in each level, but the issue is there?s no guide to tell you what each one does.

Some seem to make the lines longer while others make them shorter and there are more of course. This is the most confusing part of the game and some form of guide would have been greatly appreciated.
The graphics in this game are wonderful, but the gameplay is frustrating and hard to keep up with. Chances are, if you do give this game a shot, you won?t be playing it for very long. It?s a shame that more wasn?t explained in this game and that the difficulty didn?t increase at a more gradual pace. Unless you?re a glutton for punishment, pass on this app.
