Aqua Moto is a seadoo racing game for the iphone and ipod touch. For you fans of Wave Race or similar arcade racing games, this game will make you feel right at home. With some excellent graphics and great controls, Aqua Moto gives you the classic water racing experience we've all grown accustomed to.
The app offers a championship mode where you will battle through 7 different classes of racing including the final GP championship. There is also an online time trial mode which allows you to compete against the scores from registered players around the world. You are able to sign up for an online ranking account right in the app and customize your rider and vehicle color.
This game feels very fluid with the tilt controls working exactly as you feel they should. The sounds in this game are not the best, but the option menu allows the player to customize the volume for both the music and sounds in the game as well as the input sensitivity of the accelerometer turns.
As I stated earlier in this review, Aqua Moto will please fans of the Wave Race or similar arcade racing games with it's very similar feel. Though you are unable to do tricks in this version, I would still recommend checking this app out. There is both a lite version and paid version in the app store, so there is no reason for you not to try it. For the amount of content you get in this app and the price they ask for it, it is definitely worth the purchase. See for yourself.
