Arcade bowling is a skeeball app for the iphone and ipod touch. It is basically a straight emulation of the skeeball games you can find at many different arcade houses or other party locations.

For those of you who may not be familiar with the concept, I will explain. The idea is pretty straight forward, roll the ball using your finger towards the holes. The object is to roll just hard enough that you can skip the ball up into the correct holes for maximum points. You have 9 balls to roll and each one plays a crucial part in achieving your overall score.

For those of you who are familiar with skeeball (which I hope is everyone by now) you know how addicting the concept can get. This is almost the same with Arcade Bowling. It offers some really interesting graphics and some great sounds. But even coupled with some really smooth touch sensitive gameplay, this game is still not worth the price tag you would spend for it. There is a free version out there that offers a single mode of play, but for the most part, the free version will offer the same experience for nothing. With the time I had, I was able to get 280.
