BANG! is a whack-a-mole type of game for the iphone and ipod touch. The object of the game is to attack the incoming bombs as they fall into view. This is done by tapping each falling bomb. If a bomb is missed, the player loses a bomb icon in the bottom left. Lose all your bomb icons, and the game will be over. To move on to the next level, the bomber planes that are presumably dropping the falling explosives must be destroyed. This is done by tapping each plane repeatedly, sometimes up to 10 times to destroy it. If you're wondering where the depth or varying gameplay of this game is, you are thinking the same thing I am. After about 3 similar levels, the player will notice that there is barely any difference between the levels. Sure the number of bombs is increased, but this isn't enough to keep players interested and you will soon be bored with this app. The graphics feature an interesting flash cartoon look, but the game itself does not carry enough interest or addiction to merit a good score. The game is available free from the app store. So all of those with a slight interest, you may as well check it out. But there are much greater games out there that offer the same type of presentation but much better gameplay. This game will not be staying on most players devices, but could serve to be a quick fix for those looking for new apps.
