This game is quite interesting.
It only had 3 stars on Appvee so I was a bit hesitant at first, and must say that I only downloaded it because I'm a huge baseball fan.
When I was downloading it the other day, it seemed that the review on the appstore were pretty much one way or the other.
Most people said that it was a great game, and the other hated it because there was some kind of bug when making it to the post season. However, that seems to be cleared with the update so I didn't get that probelem.
The game is actually way better than 3 stars in my opinion.  Now, let me give you the detals.

First of all, I love the graphics. I admit that it's not the cleanest graphics, but they are cartoonish and anime-like. Which is good with me. I love these kind of old school graphics. Sometimes I get sick of the 3D graphics that seems to be the only kind on iPhone these days.
Second, the controls. It's pretty good. The fact is, the depth of this game is amazing. You can bunt, steal, special moves(with the hidden characters) and do pretty much every single move possible in baseball - and you do it with 4 buttons.  That's pretty neat.

Third, fun. This game is hands down, fun. If you like baseball or any sports game, you can tell the makers put a lot of though and effort into this game. In the description it says that this game sold 7 million copies world wide, and I don't know why I've never heard of this game before. I'm guessing it's a series that come out every year? Either way, this game is more like a action baseball game mixed with a simulation game. I love how you can increas players stats with training and items.

Forth, Sound. The sound is one part that the game can use some improvements. The not-so-American sound is great, givng it a japanese game feel. However, there's not enough. I would like some background music as well! Maybe on the next update???

In conclusion, this game rocks. It's way more than what I expected and definitly one of my favorite apps now. I haven't been so satisfied with an app in a very long time. Fieldrunner, I also downloaded it which also has 2D graphics and a very nice game play, but it was way too short. By the way, I'm not trying to say that fieldrunner is bad, but the graphics and all is kinda similar to this game :)  Trust me, this game is worth the money. Appvee.com is my favorite site and gives a pretty fair review, but I think this game is way worth more than 3 stars - more like a 4.5

this game is fun to play and to create ur own caracter the control is really simple but i hate that i cant listen to other music when i play because thier music sucks but all togehter its a good game.
