Blok-buster is a bubble elimination game with a very unique twist. Offering the same style of play (3 or more of the same color in an row and you can eliminate them) as many popular bubble elimination games, Blok-Buster will not strike the player as different in any way right off the bat. But it does introduce a unique factor into the game. Using the iphone's tilt capabilities, the player can shift the game board to give a different layout by tilting the device. This brings a whole new style of play into the game. In certain situations where the player may become stuck and without an option, they can now tilt the device in a different direction and let gravity rearrange the colors to form new combos. The object of the game is to keep eliminating blocks as fast as possible to add more time to the clock counting down. If there are not enough blocks on the screen to make combos, the player can add more with a button to keep filling the screen until the time runs out. Overall, this game adds a fun new element to an old classic style of game, but does it boast enough ingenuity and fun gameplay to warrant a purchase? For the price you are paying for this game, it may not bring enough to the table to keep a solid hold on your attention. It is unique, but does not have any sound or captivating animations to hold casual users attention for too long. The concept can get old really quickly.
