Bloons was and still is hailed as a wonderful flash game online that eventually spawned one of the internet's most beloved tower defense games to date. Featuring a whacky, nonsensical gameplay that made no sense but was strangely addictive, the game started a phenomenon of games from it's developers Ninja Kiwi. Now it has made its way to the iPhone and iPod Touch with optimized controls and the same addicting puzzles. The object of the game is to pop balloons of all colors using your monkey that throws arrows. By angling and setting the power, the monkey will toss darts with ease and hopefully pop the majority of balloons to move on to the next level. Each level is completely different, utilizing the environment, and different balloon powerups to challenge your problem solving abilities as well as your comfort with the controls. Everything from multi-arrow powerups to ice balloons and spikeball can and must be used to achieve your quote and it sometimes can challenge even the best of flash gamers. The game features the original levels from the online game as well as 100 new levels exclusively on the iPhone. That alone justifies purchase the app, but the creators went even farther and put a custom level editor for players to use. One can now create up to 50 levels with the tools given. Overall, this game is a classic flash game that brings hours of puzzling enjoyment to your device. With the ability to create your own levels and listen to your own music soundtrack with playing, this game is actually quite a steal. I recommend picking it up.
