Bocce is an amazing game that people have enjoyed playing for years with their friends and family. It's something that goes hand and hand with Italian family cook outs. This app however, is nowhere near as enjoyable. In fact, it's not even something worth spending your time or money on.
The game follows the same rules that regular Bocce does. You throw the smaller ball onto the field and the object of the game is to get your balls as close to that smaller ball as possible. You get one point for each of your balls that are closer than any of your opponents. Your goal is to get to 15 points before you opponent does.
This game doesn't really have a one player mode. Basically, if you're playing by yourself, you're playing for both teams. You can play this game lightly and just attempt to get your ball closer, or you can get competitive and try and knock your opponent?s ball past the line in the back. Once the ball crosses that line, it's no longer in play. But that type of game play can easily backfire on you.
The fact that this game costs is laughable. It's honestly one of the simplest games we've seen on the iPhone yet. Bocce doesn't translate well into anything other than a real game, so it's hard to take this seriously. Avoid this game unless you've got family over from Italy and it's way to cold out to go out back and play Bocce. Unfortunately, they'll get sick of it just as fast as you do.
