There has definitely been a hype surrounding games that are supposedly educational and help you increase your brain functionality. These games seemed to be all over the Nintendo DS and the Nintendo Wii and now on the iPhone. A few titles like this have already sprung up for the iPhone but haven't really been that great. Gameloft fixes that problem by bringing over Brain Challenge.
In total, Brain Challenge offers over 43 mini-games for you to play. Not all of them are available at the start, but you actually gain them from completing the daily tests. There are two daily tests for you to try out and each one has you do different tasks. The Brain Test is a little more straight forward.
You go through a series of five tests in an attempt to get them all correct and earn a ?quick? rating. You receive one test from each of the following categories: Logic, Math, Memory, Visual, and Focus. Each category has five different games that you could have to play once you've unlocked them all.
Stress Test is a little bit different then Brain Test. This mode only has three categories (Authority, Multitask, and Physical) with three games inside each of them. These games are a bit more demanding, having you focus on multiple things at once. Some of the games even yell at you if you get things wrong while others will require you to do multiple things at once to pass the level.
The game itself will keep track of your progress and occasionally ask you other questions to see how your knowledge is in general, making even the interface aspects of it interesting. You can play through any of the games that you've unlocked one at a time in the training mode too, just in case you want to practice getting better at them. Overall, this is a pretty solid game that is worth keeping on your iPhone for awhile.
