Google has released a social network utility called Google Buzz. The online web service has taken a little while to take off but has now become a credible name on the web.

Until recently, the only way to take advantage of this awesome new service on your iPhone was to access the online web app through safari. But now a new app called Buzzie has been released that looks to bring access though a native application. The app provides all the features crucial to utilizing Buzz. Users can check posts from other users nearby as well as posts from those who they follow. They can also post content directly to Buzz which is automatically tagged with the location and can be made public or posted for specific people. As a Buzz client this app works very well but there are a few things that seem to be missing. Buzz is a service that would do amazingly well with push notifications. This app does not offer a way to be notified of new posts. Also, if there is any content posted in a buzz like links, the app does not offer a browser inside and instead requires safari to be opened which can get annoying if you use Buzz a lot.

Overall, the app serves its purpose fine and works great if you want a native Buzz iPhone app. Check it out.
