With the 2008 Presidential Election coming up, it's no wonder that we're looking at so many different political based apps for the iPhone. Campaign may not add anything that hasn't already been done, but it definitely offers up some great information in a really sharp and easy to use package.
There are three buttons to this app: News, Polls, and Candidates. Under News and Polls there's actually an ad that says Register To Vote that will bring you to RockTheVote.com for more information on how to get that done. News provides you an aggregated news source for all election and candidate related news from all over the world.
Polls isn't what you would expect.
Instead of seeing the current standing of each candidate state by state, it's actually a series of multiple choice questions that you can answer and see the results for. Considering the results only come from this app, you may not exactly see high numbered results.
The candidate section is the best part of the app. It looks the sharpest out of any other part of the app and offers a lot of information. You can find the full candidates background, their running mates background, and even read their blog. If you like the more personal side of politics and not the statistics behind it, you should consider downloading Campaign.
