Card Ninja is really a game that is hard to feel and judge without trying it out for yourself. The game is probably one of the more simple games that can be found on the app store market, but it has some hidden challenge that pulls it from a mediocre game to an instant classic in my opinion.
Starting out the game is really simple. Cards of the same color and symbol need to be flicked towards the pins of the same color and symbol. Each card that hits the pin earn the player a point and each card that misses subtracts a point. This game in itself would have been boring to play after a while but the app begins switching things up a bit. It adds wild cards that do different things to the game and begins having the player match symbols while colors stay the same or change.
It gets really confusing and keeps you on you toes. Players have to hit the target and choose the correct cards while doing it. It becomes pretty mind-numbing after a while. Couple this gameplay with some hilarious ninja sound effects and really smooth animations and we have a winner. But perhaps the most exciting news is that the app is dirt cheap as well. This gives the app an advantage in every area and makes for a great arcade style game.
I recommend checking it out just to try your hand at the top scores. It uses OpenFeint for it's scoring so scores can be tracked globally. Definitely a great game. Check it out.
