Castle Warriors is a conquest strategy game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Many people will recognize the similarities in gameplay between this game and Galcon. Both have the player try to take over all the bases or this this case castles on the map. To do this, players have a set amount of soldiers that they need to split up and send over to take different castles. Tapping on a castle will select the soldiers in it and then by tapping the flag on the right, the amount of solders being sent can be changed.

Each game is split up into rounds called days. After each day is finished, player will receive new reinforcements to use and the battle will start again. The whole game is one big mind game. You have to decide where to allocate you forces that will set them up to make the next attack and decide how much to split your armies up also. The more you split them up, the weaker each castle will be and the more you keep them in tact, the slower you will be able to react to attacks.

Overall, the game is well-made. There were a few stutters in the gameplay but nothing that would ruin the experience. There is no multiplayer which was somewhat of a disappointment but there were plenty of levels with 3 different difficulties to play through. If you enjoyed Galcon, this app will bring a nice 3D twist to the gameplay. Check it out.
