Chop Sushi is another match three puzzle game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This game offers some interesting graphics and game play to freshen up the idea enough to merit some consideration.

Instead of just the standard match three game play, you?re actually battling out with an opponent like you do in Puzzle Quest. Your pieces are sushi and matching the wasabi is how you damage your opponent. The objective of the game is to reduce your opponents hit points to zero or less before they do the same to you. You accomplish all of this by grabbing sushi pieces from anywhere on the board and moving them to the end of their row or column to shift things over and make your match. More than three of a kind will earn you an extra move, but besides that you?ll be swapping turns with your opponent.

Chop Sushi offers two modes of play, Story Mode and Battle Mode. Story gives you a little background as to why you?re battling the more than 40 different challenges put in front of you. Battle lets you skip all that and get right to the action. Having both options adds to the longevity of the game.

If you enjoy match three puzzle games and are looking for something new, definitely check this game out. It?s not quite as complex a game as Puzzle Quest, but it isn?t as simple as most match three games.
