Clue is one of the greatest board games to date in my book, right up there with Monopoly and other greats. The mystery and collecting of clues drew me into the game and had me suspicious of everyone all the time. I loved it. Well now EA has brought the classic whodunnit to the iPhone with a flashy and definitely modern flair. But this time it isn't a board game at all. Instead, the game has taken a turn towards a flash type game in which clues are found by poking around. It reminded me a lot of the old Carmen Sandiego games where characters would sit in the foreground and tell you clues and you would have to travel to different areas. This is very similar.

In the game, you play a reporter that is trying to get the top story.

You are usually only given 45 minutes to solve the case. Each time you inspect something, you use up some of your time. If clues are not compiled into a case against someone before the time runs out, you will lose your chance to report the big news and get a promotion. The game is actually pretty hard once you get deeper into it and it takes some real problem solving to get to the bottom of the case. Fans of mystery and problem solving will love this game but I could see some people becoming really frustrated with the gameplay.

The art direction in this game is beautiful and very Ocean's Eleven-like with smooth jazz and animated shapes. Those looking to solve some mysteries and challenge your problem solving skills, check out Clue. It features the same fun characters and settings but with a new look and feel. Check it out.
