Contacts2Go is an app for the iPhone and iPod Touch that allows you to easily send vCard information to anyone directly through email. This is a function that has been missing from the iPhone since launch day, so it's nice to actually see it hit the device in one form or another.
When you first load up the app, you'll be prompted with a request for your information. By filling this out, this will allow you to easily attach your contact information to any vCard that you send out just by pressing the My Card button. After that, you're set to start using this app however you like.
The Contacts area indicates what information is being sent. There are two To fields, one allows you to add from your contact book, the other allows you to manually enter it.
This is a very handy feature. Underneath you can write an additional message if you'd like. If you want to pass the contact information both ways, instead of manually entering their info in all the fields, you can simply press the introduce button to save yourself some time.
While unfortunately this app only works one way, it's better than nothing. Granted, the app does cost $0.99, but if you find it useful, that's not exactly a lot of money. Unfortunately, just like the landscape emails apps, this app can become obsolete very easily if Apple decides to actually add those features to the iPhone itself.
