Crayon Physics Deluxe is a puzzle game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This game runs on a 2D physics engine in a crayon drawn world. While we?ve already seen something like this in Touch Physics, Crayon Physics Deluxe comes across as a much more polished version of the game that also lets you manually roll the ball.
The object in Crayon Physics Deluxe is to lead the ball that you?re given to the star or stars laid out across the level. This can either be a tall task to complete that has multiple parts or as simple as just following the directions that the game lays out for you. The game does a decent job of introducing new concepts and ways to accomplish your star-collecting task to keep things going. Unfortunately this also makes the game feel like a giant tutorial at times.
You?ll be drawing objects to hit the ball or other obstacles in the level, building bridges to cross, creating anchors and attaching objects to them to bat your ball to wherever you want it to go, and much more. What?s really enjoyable about this game is the fact that you can beat the level however you like. The goal is to get the star, how you get it is up to you.
Crayon Physics Deluxe is a really enjoyable and easy to play game. Some levels are more difficult than others, but it doesn?t seem to increase in difficulty as you continue through the game. The complexity of the levels do increase, but a lot of it appears to be just for show. Before you play this game, you?ll need to restart your phone completely each time. If not, expect the game to bug out on you and become unplayable. If you like interactive puzzle games, definitely check out Crayon Physics Deluxe.
