DigiDrummer is a drum machine app for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The app offers a lot of features, including the ability to use the app while your music is playing in the background, making it a lot more interesting then a lot of the music apps we?ve had a chance to try out.
DigiDrummer offers 15 different drumsets for you to play around with, which is definitely neat. Each set has eight different buttons for you to mess around with and create your own sound. While you can?t exactly hotkey the different drumsets that you want to play around with, if they?re right next to each other on the list you can easily scroll back and forth without any issues.
The app also allows for you to record the beats that you?re playing and revisit them later. With all the options this app offers, you?ll be able to create some pretty original sounds, so having the ability to record them is quite nice. If you?re planning on saving your recording, make sure to press the settings button then Beat Library, and press the Save Recorded Beat button. If you happen to miss this step, say goodbye to your beats.
Besides having a much easier save functionality, DigiDrummer has pretty much everything else covered. This app is really easy to use and provides fast response times when it comes to mashing away at the drum pads.
