SUMMARY: A classic RPG adventure for the iPhone and iPod Touch

Dragon bane II brings the classic RPG feel to the iPhone and iPod touch. This game may not be a graphical masterpiece, but for those with years of RPG experience under their belt, this will definitely be a game they enjoy.

The game offers a very robust play system. There are over 150 spells, 8 character classes, 30 levels, and 100 monsters for you to fight your way through. That means that you could be playing this game for a very long time due to it's pick up and play appeal. Then again, you could also sit down and burn through it in a shorter period of time, but chances are you've got console games you do that with.

Most of the game is handled through text interfaces. Of course there are pictures of who or what you're interacting with, but they aren't anything special. You're really focusing on what the story is and how you can accomplish your goals, not how great something looks. There's a lot to do in this game, but there's definitely a learning curve. Honestly, if you haven't played this type of game before, expect to find yourself walking in circles for awhile.

What makes this game so appealing in the long run is the fact that there is a level editor available for this game. That means you and other players can make your own world to explore and adventure through. Obviously the levels need to be made on your computer (due to all the descriptive typing needed) but that's definitely something that makes this game well worth the money. That is, if you're a fan of classic RPGs.
