Ego City Invasion is probably one of the weirder game that I've tried out in a while. The game is a defense game where you must defend your city from the attacking zombies. You are a man in a tank that is slightly too small for him who has a large arsenal of weapons to help take out the brain-dead swarms. Anyone who has played he game Worms will immediately recognize the similarities in the art style and wacky weapons that are used. But instead of taking turns shooting each other, you must make it through waves of zombies that get progressively harder and harder to destroy.

With each beginning round, supplies or powerups are airdropped into the level. Each of these different powerups will provide you with different tools to slow the oncoming horde. Everything from freezing zombies to sending out a mechanical ram can be used to stop them. As you progress through, you can enter the shop and buy new items with tokens that are collected on the battlefield. Using your jetpack you can change the angle of your shooting and fly to a new area to defend.

Overall, the game is extremely simple but was easy to pick up and play. There are many unlockables and scores to try to beat online which makes the game replayable. Later on in the game it becomes madness as you are swarmed and that made it well-worth the price being asked. Check it out.
