Fame is the new game that has been released for the iPhone and iPod Touch that tries to bring the excitement of the movie to a playable game. This game is meant to be just like all the different tapping games in the appstore but with a twist that will make it different. The game has some pretty good visuals with some unique gameplay elements that are different from your usual tapping game.

Instead of following a track, the game puts tapping and sliding elements in patterns on the screen. Quick reactions and a sense of rhythm are necessary to be able to keep up with the constant barrage of taps and slides. As far as the game\'s value goes though it really is kind of a let down. There are only three songs to choose from though more are promised on the way. The app is openfeint enabled so players can argue over who is the best but overall the game ended up feeling like a big letdown.

The very limited selection of songs and lack of any real substance didn\'t justify the price that was being asked. I would suggest holding on the purchase until they update with a decent playlist of songs. Until then, it is just a little too simple and will get boring very quickly.
