For some reason, farming games have become very popular amongst gamers of all ages. Farm Frenzy 2 is the second edition of the popular series and it’s just as fun and addicting as ever. From growing grass to selling your goods at market, you’ll need to master all aspects of farming to excel at this game. Who knew farming could be so addicting?
The great thing about this game is that anyone can pick it up and play it with little effort, at first. It can be as simple or complex as you want it to be. Each level has a goal to be accomplished, and if you accomplish that goal in the least amount of time, you get the maximum score. If you are more casual with the gameplay, you can take as long as you want to complete a goal and still receive a few points.
The first thing you’ll need to do to make money is grow some grass. All you have to do is tap on an open area of the screen and grass will magically grow, as long as you have water. The chickens will eat the grass and lay eggs. You can sell the eggs or use them to make other products. The more money you earn, the more upgrades you can make to increase productivity. For example, when you make enough money, you can purchase a better truck that will transport your goods to the market much faster. Upgrading buildings will increase how many products are produced each time you make something. Also, the more money you earn, the more animals will be available for purchase. Each new animal produces something new for you to sell. For example, a pig will produce pork that can be sold to the market for even more cash.
You control everything in the game with just one finger. Everything just needs a single tap to activate, which makes the game extremely simple to use. The graphics, animations, music and sound are all done very well. Put a headset on and you’ll really feel immersed in the game.
Maybe it’s the human desire to get to the next level. Maybe it’s the excitement of seeing what will be unlocked next. Maybe it’s just the chickens. But, Farm Frenzy 2 is absolutely one of the more addicting games I’ve played. There’s something about farming that has become massively appealing, and this game is a great way to fulfill this strange new desire. There’s a free version to try out first, so go get it.
