Fire Tail is a strategy game for the iPhone and iPod Touch where your objective is to take over your enemy?s territory. If you've ever played the game Jezzball before, you'll notice that both games are very similar, except you actually see the entire screen in Jezzball instead of just a zoomed in portion like Fire Tail shows.
When you load up the game, the controls default to tilt. You can double tap the screen for touch mode to make things easier to control. From there, all you need to do is make a connection between either the wall or an area you've already captured to take over another block. If an enemy is in that area when you block it off, you won't capture it, you'll just trap them.
In the top left hand corner of the screen you'll see a series of indicators.
They are Health, Time, Percentage, Score, and Top Score. The level ends when you run out of health or time. Depending on the percentage of the map you've conquered, you gain a certain number of health blocks back. You lose health by getting hit by enemy blocks, so try and avoid them.
Fire Tail is a fun game that you'll definitely enjoy if you've played Jezzball. It does become frustrating that you can't see the entire board when you're playing, only a small area. If you can get over that, then it's definitely worth the small price for a quick game you can pick up and play.
