Flick NBA is yet another game being put out by the Freeverse team that will have you flicking your finger over and over again. But this time, the game is licensed and a such will feature some interesting characters and a larger price tag. Flick NBA comes with over 24 players representing every team in the NBA. So you are bound to find at least one character you like.

The game begins with the player selecting from 5 different games to choose from. You can pick to have a 3 point shootout, play a casual game of H.O.R.S.E, play hotshot right on the court, play longshot where the player will shoot and attempt to reach and make the halfcourt shot. There is also the mode where the player will spin the ball on a virtual finger for as long as possible. The game only has a few mechanics, flicking and timing for shooting. If you time your shot right and flick the appropriate distance, the shot will go in almost 100% of the time. If you've ever played a different flick game, you will know exactly how this works. But now the NBA and placed their stamp all over this game and it definitely shows. There is an announcer, pro players, and a beautifully rendered court will excellent refection. But even after playing every game available on this app, it still brought me to question whether it was worth the extra price paid.

It still was a collection of minigames. Albeit fun, they didn't have enough replay value to make me want to keep it on my phone. If you are a huge NBA fan and desire to have an app with some of your favorite players and gametypes, this app may bring you plenty of entertainment. But for the price being asked, I'm going to recommend passing as the price does not justify the content.
