Facebook has one amazing app for the iPhone but is mysteriously lacking any type of app for the iPad. Though it is very possible to browse through your social life using the Safari browser, it is definitely less than ideal. This is where Friendly comes in. Surprisingly, Apple let this Facebook app slip through it’s screening process and that is a good thing. The iPad now has an app that almost brings a complete Facebook experience to your iPad. The app has it all right down to the look and feel of Facebook.

Browse your friends, look through photos, update your status, and event check event info. The app seemingly has it all. But it definitely isn’t perfect. Users still don’t seem to have the ability to view Facebook video in the app though embedded YouTube videos work fine. The other larger issue for me was that I couldn’t actually delete posts or edit event details.

But aside from these minor downsides, this is by far the best Facebook content viewer I have seen on the iPad. It looks great with a few graphical hiccups, but it definitely worth the download. Check it out.
