We've all wanted it. Turn-by-turn radio is now starting to emerge in the appstore. There are all types of different GPS apps that are priced all over the board from subscription-based services to one-times fees. Each of these apps are trying to accomplish what the default maps app is unable to do. They provide turn-by-turn directions that offer voice guidance and tell the user when to turn.

G-Map is one of these GPS apps that is being offered. The app claims to offer great guidance that is easy and simple to do. AppVee was lucky enough to get a copy of the release and let me tell you, it does almost everything it claims to do with simplicity.

Setting up routes is very easy to do.

Whether you're looking for an address or a point of interest, the app makes it easy to search and route yourself to that location. I took it out for a spin on my way to my favorite high-class restaurant. The application worked wonderfully and got me to my destination by verbally telling me when and where to turn. The app allows the user to save different routes for the future and pull them up for later use. It has a ton of other features that can be expected from actual GPS units like a day and night feature and different searches that can be performed.

Overall, the app weighs in at a very heavy price, but it is pennies compared to the prices asked for actual GPS systems. If you have a need for some quality turn-by-turn, check out G-Map. It works perfectly and got me where I needed to go. Just don't lose a your cellphone signal or you lose your gps.
