Glow is a unique puzzle game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. In Glow, the goal is to circle different floating objects with your finger in an attempt to earn a high score. Depending on what you circle with your finger determines how many points you receive.
In Glow, you?ll be creating a neon line with your finger to capture the floating pieces before time runs out. Capturing multiple of the same pieces will earn you a decent bonus, but there are 50 hidden combos in this game that will earn you much more of a bonus. For example, one of each piece will get you a band bonus while a smiley face and a microphone will get you the acappella bonus. Finding these combos is probably the most enjoyable part of this game.
Everything floating around in Glow looks like somebody drew it by hand with the insides of a glowstick.
The backgrounds are different for all of the 27 unlockable stages, making things a little bit nicer to look at as you advance through the game. The one part of this game that you create directly with your hand, seems to run into the most issues though. The line from your finger will often run out if made to big and doesn?t always connect to the other end if you have chubby fingers. This may take you a little while to get use to, but eventually you learn to work with it.
Glow is a pretty enjoyable time based puzzle game. It has a cute feel to it that will make it worth checking out for some, but the biggest appeal in this game is the achievements. If you?re the type to love figuring out and accomplishing all the achievements a game has to offer, than this title is definitely for you.
