GridBuster is a strategy puzzle game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This game is a fast pace pick up and play game that may keep you entertained for awhile if you can get the game to respond to your touch.
There?s not a lot to GridBuster. Basically, you start in the top left corner of the screen. Your goal is in the bottom right corner of the screen. Your goal is to get there before the time runs out.
The obstacles in your way are randomly generated blocks with the numbers 50, 100, or 150 written on them. These numbers signify the number of energy points that will be taken away from you when you land on them.
You?ve only got so much time and energy before it?s game over, so you?ll have to figure out the quickest and least energy draining route to get from the start to the goal. You move by touching the square adjacent square, but unfortunately this doesn?t always seem responsive. Sometimes if you hold your finger down for longer instead of just tapping it will work, but other times the game is downright unresponsive.
The concept is simple and it?s perfect for a pick up and play game, but the difficulty with such simple controls is enough to really turn people away. The game doesn?t have a lot of polish, but it doesn?t need it. All it really needs is for the controls to be responsive and this would be quite the time waster.
