Handy CookBook is pretty much the most aptly named iPhone app I have come across. The app is essentially a digital CookBook for storing your personal recipes. Unlike many recipe or cookbook apps in the app store, this particular one doesn't offer outside recipes. This app's main focus is to offer a clean environment to store your own recipes on your device so you will always have them at hand.

The interface is pretty simple and it will not take long to figure out exactly what to do. The recipes can be conveniently organized by types with the ability to add or delete new ones. Users can search through all their recipes by ingredient, rank, or keyword which is extremely useful for anyone with a large amount of recipes. The app also provides a grocery list that can import ingredients directly from a recipe. Another great innovation is the ability to manage your recipes via a browser so typing in all the specifics doesn't have to be done on the small keyboard.

Overall, this app is the best recipe storing app I have ever seen and really makes for a great way to manage your collection. With the added abilities to email recipes and rate them, this app makes for a great way to share recipes as well. Check it out.
