I Love LOST is a trivia contest app based around the TV show LOST for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This app isn?t affiliated officially with the show in any way, but it is offering a $1,000 prize to whoever wins the contest.

The app is broken down into four main tabs: Countdown, Trivia, Theories, and Chat. Countdown shows you the timer counting down every 108 minutes and also lists how long until the next episode of LOST is on. This is where the entire contest takes place. Within the last 4 minutes of the 108 minute countdown, you need to press the picture of the computer and enter in the code. If you do this the timer will reset and you?ll be safe for another 108 minutes. If you don?t, you lose the contest and this part of the app becomes useless.

The Trivia tab offers a limited amount of trivia about the TV show that you?ll be able to read through in a minute or so. Theories is an area where you can read, rate, and add theories about LOST in a community setting. And Chat allows you to post and read messages from other users and even refresh them so you can talk back and forth in real time.

Besides the contest, this app is pretty weak. The contest is an amazing idea and is something that LOST itself should have put out, but apparently they didn?t give the iPhone enough thought. If you?re a fan of lost and want to commit some serious time and $.99 to a contest that could earn you $1,000, then check out this app. If you?re not going to play the contest, don?t bother downloading it.
