iBaseball is an interactive sports game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. iBaseball follows the same styling that we've seen in iGolf and iBowling by offering a hands on sporting game on the go. Before you start playing any of these games, you should definitely make sure you have some sort of grippy case on your iPhone so you don't wind up throwing it clear across the room.
Things are a little bit different with this game over the others. First, the instructions screen is now green instead of blue. This gives the app a little less of a Nintendo Wii feel to it. Second, you're not the only factor in this game. Where iBowling and iGolf was just you, iBaseball adds a batter into the game. You'll be pitching to the computer batter in an attempt to strike them out.
There are two different types of pitches for you to throw: curveball and fastball. You're trying to strike the batter out while also attempting to get the fastest speed possible. This is kind of scary considering you're whipping your iPhone around like its a baseball but just hopefully not letting go of it.
Just like all of the other games we've seen from this developer, this app is scary. It sure is a lot of fun but it's not a game you're going to want anyone to play on your iPhone. Chances are you won't even trust yourself playing it. If you manage to find a padded room and feel up for whipping your iPhone around, this is definitely a great app to try out.
