Motivating is an app for the iPhone and iPod Touch that allows you to make motivational images. While the heyday of motivational images as a joke may have passed, this app is offers quite a few features to help you make your own jokes.

When you load up the app you?ll see a list of all the Motivators you?ve already made or a place to create a new one. Pressing the plus button will bring you to an area to create a motivational poster. Here you can add a picture to your photo library, saved photos, or directly from a camera. Photo library and saved photos seem to bring you to the exact same place, so it doesn?t matter which you pick. This app doesn?t back up the image you?ve taken with it so consider using your Camera app if you want the originals.

After you select the picture, you can change the border in three different ways. You can also rewrite the heading, tagline, and change the color of the border and the words. Once you?re done with your picture, you can easily save it or trash it. Now you?ve just created your first motivational poster.

This app is fun to mess around with and gives you another great way to manipulate your images directly on your phone. It does an excellent job at bringing the motivational poster concept to the iPhone and iPod Touch world. Considering it costs, it?s not going to be for everyone. But at such a cheap price, definitely check it out if you get a kick out of this sort of thing.
