Into the Blue is a game that plays very much like a mix between a tower defense game and a line drawing game. The game has upgradeable towers and weapons and has players fend off different attacks from the pink civilization. But at the same time players are defending, they must also be guiding ships to and from resource areas by tracing the routes they need to take. If you thought playing flight control was hard, try defending those planes from oncoming attack the entire time on top of guiding them.

The app is a great idea put into practice and turns out to be one of the more difficult games I have played on the iPhone. It has two levels of difficulty and at the moment, only offer a handful of missions. The developers are currently at work creating even more content for the game and adding new features such as an autosave which is almost a necessity for an iPhone game.

Overall, the app was fun and blended two extremely fun genres to make one really hard game. For the price being asked it was worth it, but it may not be the game for some of you. It's just a bit too short and simple currently but it's developers promise more to come. Check it out.
