Cars are an essential part of everyday life in America and it comes as no surprise that we love to race them as well. Drag Racer is an app emulating the excitement of drag racing and the fun of building and tuning your own car. There are essentially two different parts to the app. There is the racing part where players will compete against other computer players in different tournaments and races. The controls are very simple, hold the pedal down on the left of the screen and shift by sliding your finger up and down.

But the racing is really the smallest part of the app. The more interesting section of the app is the customization and upgrades. As you earn money from races, you will be able to upgrade each component of your car as well as give it a new paint job. New cars can also be purchased and saved to your garage. The app was extremely fun to play through and the level of customization is unrivaled in the app store. Anything I wanted make my car look like was available and I even could add photos from my library to my car.
