It's been quite a while since Google released it's mobile app and changed how we search. Using an amazing speech recognition technology users are able to search using only their voice and the app will turn it into text. Dragon Search takes that popular and useful technology and ramps up its usability. Just like the Google Mobile app, Dragon Search allows users to search the web using their voice. But instead of searching just Google, users can take that search and immediately search Twitter, Wikipedia, iTunes, Youtube, and Google as well as Yahoo or Bing depending on your preferences.
The app gives users the option to switch the search by swiping across the top of the screen.
In my tests, the app didn't get as many voice searches correct as the Google Mobile app did, but as an overall test, it nailed most of them. The app definitely makes searching quickly a priority and opens much faster than the Google Apps does.
Overall, the app is definitely replacing my Google Mobile app as the default application for searches. It is faster and doesn't sacrifice too much accuracy. If you find yourself constantly using your phone or ipod touch to search answers to your questions out, check out Dragon Search. It gets the job done quickly.
