Simplify Music is an app that allows you to keep a lot more music on your iPhone as long as you're willing to be a bit patient and rely on always having a connection. It has been around for quite some time, but now it is back with version two.
Simplify Music 2 uses software that you install on your pc to host all the music you've got available. Each account can invite up to 30 friends to listen in to their music as well, making it really easy for you to have all your friends music without needing to fill up your hard drive space. From there you just log into the app from your iPhone with the same username and password, then let everything sync. The first load, especially if you're on EDGE will take a while. After that you'll be able to browse through all of your music as if it was actually on your iPod app. It loads everything up, sometimes even with the cover art too.
There are plenty of newer features in Simplify 2 that will convince those who already use the old version to upgrade.
Simplify 2 allows the user to search for a specific song or other piece of media across all connected computers. This feature in itself would have sold me, but there is still more. Users can now tag favorites right in the app, and create on-the-fly playlists to enjoy. Media can now be scrubbed to move forward or backward in a song and there is a demo feature for those who need to troubleshoot their connections or media.
Simplify Media 2 is a must have app for the iPhone. It is improving on the already proven formula of its predecessor while staying true to what makes it awesome. Check it out. For a discounted price, it is definitely worth the purchase.
