Zenonia is an RPG that has been hyped in online forums and blogs around the world for quite some time now. The 16 bit classic-style RPG was sculpted with care to try and provide over 40 hours of entertainment to it's players and bring a whole new standard to RPGs on the iPhone and iPod Touch. You play as a young child who was found in heat of battle. The game takes place during a conflict between the Dragon Clan and Holy Knights two different civilizations with different goals and morals. Along the way you're able to make choices that change both your alignment and the direction the game takes through the story.

Zenonia features some excellent skill and weapon upgrades, offering more than any other game I've played on the iPhone to date. You gain experience by completing quests and killing monsters which enables you to boost your statistics as well as spend points making your way down skill trees very similar to talent trees in games like World of Warcraft or Diablo.

The game is controlled using a D-Pad and buttons and will sometimes get annoying as it is used for literally every action in the game including the menus. The iPhone's touch interface is rarely used and is probably the game largest flaw. But the game itself is a wonderful RPG for the iPhone. If you enjoy RPGs, this game may be one of the best purchases you can make for your device. It has a wonderful story and some surprising depth. it is definitely worth checking out. The game is far from perfect but with how much is being offered as far as content an depth, it is still the best RPG on the iPhone to date. Those who are new to RPGs may find it to be a bit too much, but those who love the classic 16 bit feel, you will enjoy this game for sure.
