iTalk is a really easy to use recording app for the iPhone and iPod Touch 2nd Gen. This app allows you to record a good deal of audio directly to your device. Audio recording apps tend to be pretty simple, but surprisingly, iTalk offers some really neat features that make it the best recording app available.
Before you start recording you have some settings to choose from. You can enter in the name of the recording and select the recording quality (Good, Better, or Best). Once you've selected your options, just press the big red button and you're good to go.
While demoing this device we had a recording last over seven and a half minutes before we optionally ended it.
After you finish your recording or when you press done on the main screen, you're brought to a list of all your recordings. Here you can either play or delete any of the recordings that you've made. If you decide to delete them, make sure to clear them out of your trash as well or they'll still be there hogging up space.
When you load the app up for the first time it will tell you that you can connect to your device over WiFi from your computer to download all of the audio you've created. This is really a strong feature, as you may want your recordings saved on more than just your iPhone. If you need a reliable voice recorder, definitely check out iTalk.
