Avatar was destined to be a blockbuster movie with millions of dollars put into its production. And as everyone knows, with a blockbuster movie, comes the game. Avatar the game is put out by Gameloft, one of the most respectable companies in the iPhone and iPad gaming business. This game follows the story of a new Avatar program recruit and his journey through the new world. The events in the game take place before the actual movie and allow for the game to have its own story.

The game plays much like the Assassin's Creed app if any of you are familiar with it. There is a virtual joystick and buttons for jumping and attacking. Most of the game is spent running through the jungle navigating different gaps and forest walls. In between exploring, there are different fights that occur and players must use the single button attacks to defeat the different creatures.

Overall, the iPad version of this movie game isn't any different from it's iPhone counterpart. It doesn't even really offer a better graphic experience. So if you already purchased it for the iPhone, this app will be a waste of money and time and if you have yet to play it, I still suggest grabbing it for the iPhone instead.
