Jewel Quest Mysteries is a game that takes many different elements from popular genres and puts them together to form a somewhat confusing but fun experience. The app is basically a blend of I-Spy, Bejeweled, and a small RPG.

The idea behind the game is that you are trying to solve different mysteries in different parts of the world. You do this by finding various objects (the I-Spy element) hidden among a bunch of stuff. Once you have collected all the objects and possibly found some of the hidden coins or jewels, the Bejeweled stage starts. In this stage your goal is to match three jewels together just like most games. The app also adds an RPG element to it by giving players the option to upgrade and obtain different powerups as they progress through the game.

Overall, the I-Spy part of the game was a ton of fun and I loved trying to find the hidden objects. But the game itself felt a little confused about what it wanted to be. The jewel matching part was a bit time consuming and not as fun as Bejeweled. I would recommend grabbing it if you like all of these elements but I don't really see it as something that would stay on your device long term. The price seems a bit high for what the app is offering and there isn't a free version to download.
