Jezster is a Jezzball game for the iPhone and iPod touch. If you've ever played Jezzball or something similar, you will understand what this game is all about. The object of the game is to block off eighty percent of the level with walls that you create without the balls that are floating randomly within the level touching them. If a wall that is being created is touched by a ball, a life will be taken and the wall will be deleted. Every time a space is created with a wall that doesn't have a ball in it, the space will be filled.
For fans of Jezzball, this app may provide you with the experience you remember. But there are some twists added. Occasionally there will be bombs that appear on the screen that you must tap. If the bombs are not tapped, they will destroy and walls in the area and sometime ruin your setup.
Although this game covers all the basics of Jezzball that I grew up with, I still wouldn't recommend it to you. The frame rate in this game seems to be abnormally slow and sometimes you will find yourself wondering if a ball actually touched a wall or not.
Overall, the gameplay is very similar to the older games we've been used to and it does give us that experience we are looking for. So far, this has been the best Jezzball clone I've seen in the app store yet, but it still has a long way to go before it receives my download.
