LightBike is a arena battle game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Anyone who has heard of TRON will know exactly what this game is all about. The object of the game is to eliminate all opposing players. This is down simply by driving you lightbike smartly. Each light bike emits a trail that stays on the map indefinitely. This trail, if run into, will destroy any lightbike that hits it. Set on a square map, the object is to get the enemy players to run into a trail and to avoid the trails while you're doing it. There is also a boost at the disposal of a player to make a sudden move or getaway at a desperate time.



The game play in LightBike is a very simple concept but it provides a ridiculous amount of fun. There are 3 options for play in LightBike. The player can fight in a solo mode against computer players on three different difficulties, Play on the same device across from a friend or join a game across wifi with 3 other friends. The only feature that seems to be missing in this game is the ability to play online against other players. This feature would add a lot of value to the game.



Overall, for the price being asked with this game, it may be smart to pass. There is a free version of the game that allows you to play the solo mode on easy as many times as you would like. I suggest checking that out first to see if you like it.
