Health » Livestrong Calorie Tracker Review

The LIVESTRONG Calorie Tracker is a health and fitness monitoring app for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This app is perfect for anyone who wants to get a grip on their exercise or eating habits and see exactly how well they are doing and where they can improve.
This app isn?t going to hold your hand and tell you what to do. Instead, after you provide it all of the information that it requires to build the proper profile for you, it?s going to suggest a set caloric intake for you to follow, but the monitoring is all in your control. The tabs at the bottom of the screen will let you enter in information about what you?ve had to eat and what you?ve done for exercise.
When you need to enter in what you?ve had to eat or what you?ve done exercise wise, the app will give you a hand at tracking it correctly.

Both fields have a search area where you enter in what you?re looking for and the app will tell you exactly how many calories that burger cost you or those sit-ups helped you burn.
LIVESTRONG is a really great app to have with you if you?re looking to lose a few pounds or even maintain your weight. The app does have a limit as to how much you can attempt to lose each week, which is definitely healthy. Considering it does all the calculating and managing for you and can sync with its website counterpart, this app is definitely a great utility to have on your phone.

I can\'t give it high ratings on ease of use and usefullness because it has too many bugs to be either.

It can\'t retain information or actually accept changes. It takes 6 or 7 tries before it actually accepts my changes to weight, calories, or fitness. I can never add fitness on the first try. I have to add it at zero then go back and edit it. Also, forget making a change more than once. you can change the calories, but if you change the duration, the calories goes back to zero.

It\'s incredibly frustrating to use so more often than not, I\'ll just take notes down with my iPhone and update my workouts and weight at home.

The food database isn\'t as extensive, but there\'s better luck with that.
