Loot Wars is an app for the iPhone and iPod Touch that is essentially an item focused MMORPG. The game doesn't offer any storyline or anything like that. Instead, your goal is to find the best loot possible and equip yourself with it so that you can take on opponents at the arena and win better loot.

This game is very similar to Duels and the dozen or so Facebook apps out there that allow you to battle other players and get new equipment. Just like those games, you're limited by the number of actions you can make at any given time. Your action point pool gains one extra point every 20 minutes, so you really can't play this game non-stop. Especially when you consider that it takes 1 point to scavenge for equipment and 3 to fight in the arena.

What you do in this game is scavenge for loot and equip it. The loot will range from random food objects to great swords. You shouldn't really worry about anything except the attack and defense number because it's not like you can see your avatar dressed up in all the loot you have. If you decide you really want to collect a certain type of loot, you can enter the town and trade with others to acquire it.

There are plenty of reasons to keep coming back to this game. You can build up your achievements and medals very easily by participating in the arena. There are a few issues with this game that may turn you off from it though. It does cost and it limits how often you can actually play. Considering you can search for other players, this is more the type of game you'll find yourself dragged into if you have a group of friends with iPhones.
